Walk & Talk
Walk & Talk: with God / with a person
-
To connect in relationship
-
To move your body
-
To be revived in your spirit
It’s a simple concept:
-
Set a place and time
-
Invite people
Choose a style:
-
Freestyle: Share and listen. Set your own pace and distance. Switch with different partners during your walk (alone with God, with 1 person, switching during your walk with several people)
-
Intentional: Set your number of laps, time, or distance and pick a prompt for each segment.
1. Take turns to share about your family, how long you’ve lived in this area, where you have lived previously.
2. Each of you can describe something good you’ve experienced: life, God, other.
3. Share something you are learning (book, cooking, class, podcast, hobby, etc.) or something you would like to learn.
4. Talk about something that has challenged you recently.
5. Walk in Silence (think, meditate, observe)
6. Cool down… pray for each other (silent or out loud)
